Call for Proposals
Extended Summary
We are pleased to announce the Extended Summary (ES) track for ICCE 2025. The ES track provides opportunities for authors to present promising research that needs more development or preliminary results of substantial ongoing work.
All ES papers will be published in the proceedings with an ISBN. The proceedings will also be indexed by Elsevier Bibliographic Databases and made available on the official ICCE2025 and APSCE websites.
Four kinds of contributions will be accepted: empirical, technical design, conceptual and literature review papers. Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to submit ES papers related to the following sub-conferences:
• C1: ICCE Sub-Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education/Intelligent Tutoring System (AIED/ITS) and Adaptive Learning

Presentation Formats
NEW FOR ICCE 2025: Accepted ES papers will be assigned to one of two
presentation categories:
• Oral Presentation: Short oral presentations scheduled during the pre-conference days. Authors of accepted oral presentation papers will be given a 9-minute presentation, followed by a 3-minute Q & A. Oral presentations on similar themes will be grouped together to enhance thematic coherence.
• Poster Presentation: ES posters will be presented during the designated poster sessions of the main conference. This format allows for more detailed and interactive discussions.
Note: The ES committee will determine which presentation format is assigned to each accepted paper based on review results, thematic grouping, and scheduling considerations.
Submission Procedure
Submissions must be made through the Paper Submission System (EasyChair).
Please don’t e-mail your manuscripts to ES coordination chairs or sub-conference chairs.
To ensure broad participation, each person may be the first author of no more than one ES paper. Individuals may be co-authors on multiple submissions.
• File Types: PDF
• Language: English (British or American)
• Length: Maximum 4 pages (including abstract, main body, figures, references, acknowledgements, etc.) following the conference template
• Template: Paper Template File
All submissions will be reviewed by the ES program committee, which may include members recommended by relevant sub-conference chairs.
Camera ready papers have to be submitted in both Word (or RTF) and PDF files together with a copyright statement by the final paper deadline. At least one
author has to register the conference by the registration deadline, for the paper to be included in the conference program and proceedings.
Questions related to the ES submissions should be addressed to the ES Coordination Chairs.
